Roddick to Retire From Tennis After US Open
Former World No. 1 and US Open champion Andy Roddick announced today that he’s retiring from tennis after the 2012 US Open.
“I don’t know if I’m healthy enough or committed enough to continue another year,” Roddick said. “Frankly, these guys have gotten really really good. I’m not sure with compromised health I can do what I want right now. For all my faults, I have never done things halfway. I don’t want to disrespect the game by coasting home.”
