World No. 2 Roger Federer clinched a spot in the semifinals in London, beating David Ferrer 6-4, 7-6, in a topsy-turvy match at the World Tour Finals.
Federer struggled with his serve throughout the match, getting just 53% of his first serves in (40% in the first set). Still, the match was status quo in the end, and Federer improved to a 14-0 career record against Ferrer.
